Job specification: Within the Neurobiology group, a PhD research position is currently available. This position is embedded in a large international project funded by an Innovative Medicine Initiative (IMI) grant from the European Union. You will work in collaboration with project partners from 48 national and international academic and industrial organizations. The PhD project aims at understanding the role of early life sensory cortex development and sensory processing deficits in autism spectrum disorders using mouse studies. You will perform research to study the relationship between early life sensory cortex development, sensory information processing, and behaviour using molecular, genetic and integrated sensory evoked EEG and behavioural analyses in mice.
