|Job specification:||The Associate Professor will join a dynamic and collaborative department and will engage in high level original and independent research in an area complementary to the Department’s research strategy in Neuroscience.
The main duties of this post will be to secure significant external funding and to conduct and manage research projects, through to publication in scholarly journals, participation in international conferences and seminars, and via other media. They will contribute to the Department’s Neuroscience teaching to the pre-clinical students studying for the 1st BM and FHS Medical Sciences, non-medical students studying the FHS course in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroscience), and limited MSc teaching in Neuroscience. The postholder will also contribute to college teaching and tutorials and will be expected to supervise graduate research students.
