| Job specification: | Recent research by our group demonstrates that lipid metabolism is crucial in directing inflammatory and repair processes in the central nervous system. The goal of this project is to identify key players involved in these processes using a transcriptomics and lipidomics approach. Elucidated pathways will be validated using state of the art cell and tissue culture systems, animal models and innovative molecular and cell biology techniques. In addition, the scholar will take up a limited teaching duty in the bachelor or master programs of the faculty. |
