The focus of the project is on action control – comparing binding and retrieval mechanism across different effectors (hands vs. eyes) and across different action-time scales. In particular, we will analyze action control processes in variants of established experimental paradigms (negative priming, flanker tasks, etc.) while varying the type of effector which with participants have to respond. The methods to be used in the project thus comprise behavioral tasks in which we measure and compare responses via the hands/feet with responses via the eyes. |
