Vacancy text: The PhD project is entitled “Developing Psychological and Educational Measurement Models for Next-Generation Adaptive Medical Laboratory Simulations”.
The larger framework of the project is to develop laboratory simulations that constantly adapt to students’ responses to items and their behaviour in the simulation.
The research will contribute to the development of an innovative product in cooperation with the company Labster (www.labster.com) and researchers from universities such as UC Berkeley, Copenhagen University and others.

The objective of the Ph.D. project is to develop and apply psychological and educational measurement models within the framework of computerized adaptive testing to learning simulations. The project is based on collaboration between Guido Makransky (University of Southern Denmark) and researchers from international universities (we are in the process of confirming other supervisors). A study abroad period at UC Berkeley or another relevant university may be possible.
