Job specification: The School of English is seeking to appoint a part-time Assistant Professor in Psycholinguistics (teaching focussed) to provide cover for a member of staff on Leverhulme funded leave.

The successful candidate will undertake teaching in the areas of psycholinguistics, language acquisition/processing and related topics in the School of English, and will contribute more widely to the School’s teaching activities. Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area of applied linguistics or psychology. A proven track record of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on live and distance programmes is essential, covering some (preferably more than one) of the following topics: language acquisition, language development, language and the mind, and research methods.
