| Job specification: | The Department of Psychology at the University of York is seeking a Research Associate from 1 June 2018 to contribute to a 2-year ESRC-funded project in the area of speech perception and cognitive listening. The purpose of the project is to understand the effect of cognitive load and dual-tasking on low-level speech and-non-speech perception. Data collection will be based on perceptual methods and auditory psychophysical tests.
You will contribute to every stage of the project. You will be responsible for designing the experiments, creating, recording, and editing the materials for all experiments. You will also be in charge of recruiting and testing participants, assist with data analysis and dissemination of the results. It is also expected that you will lead some of the studies. |
