We seek applications from researchers able to build bridges from neural circuits and psychological processes to linguistic behavior. An excellent, experimentally-minded researcher in neuroscience-oriented psycholinguistics will help to unify linguistics with other disciplines and faculties at the University of Vienna, and also would play a keystone role in the university neuroscience strategy by linking neuroscience to high-level complex cognition (e.g., language, music,arts) in humans. Interest in evolutionary/comparative questions would help to bridge the gap between human and animal species where detailed investigations of cellular and molecular mechanisms are possible. |
