Research Associate/Fellow in Clinical Neuroscience

This programme focuses on how people process speech when listening in conversation, and, specifically, how prediction of speech (in terms of content and timing) differs between people with normal and impaired hearing.

Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent experience in cognitive science, experimental psychology, neuroscience or a related area. Those near to completion of a PhD are also encouraged to apply.

Duties will include:

  • designing and running experiments of speech and conversation behaviour;
  • taking the lead with complex data analyses to tie cognitive and neural processing to behaviours such as turn-taking;
  • overseeing the work of a research assistant;
  • support PhD students on the programme;

This post is full-time and will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2024. Job share arrangements may be considered.
