Job specification: The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a social worker or psychologist assigned to work at the Psycho-Oncology Program at CUMC. This is a full-time, clinical position working closely with the oncology team.

The position entails treating patients primarily in an outpatient setting, although there will be some inpatient clinical care as well. Primary responsibilities involve the screening and assessment of patients as well as individual, family and group psychotherapy. The emphasis of the clinical work will be on pain management, as well as anxiety, grief and trauma related to medical conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team and participate in program development.
