Funded by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen, applicants are invited for a three-year PhD position. In a collaboration between the Center for Psychotherapy Research, Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen, and the Stolpegaard Psychotherapy Centre (PCS) under the Mental Health Services, Capital Region of Denmark, the chosen candidate will participate in the conduction of a randomized controlled trial of a new short-term mentalization-based treatment (MBT) of borderline personality disorder compared to the standard MBT (TAU). The trial is conducted at the Outpatient Clinic for Personality Disorders at PCS where the new short-term treatment already has been implemented. The chosen candidate will conduct baseline assessments of eligible patients prior to randomization (SCID-II, MINI, ZAN-BPD), oversee the practical implementation of the study at the clinic, and report the outcomes. Ideally, employment starts May 1st 2018, although a slightly later date might also be possible.
