| Job specification: | The Behavioural Science Institute and Donders Institute at Radboud University have an opening for two PhD candidates to work on an NWO-funded project called ’Enhancing Police Performance under Stress Through Immersive Biofeedback Training.’ You will be part of a large-scale research programme that will: (a) Develop genre-breaking virtual reality (VR) games which integrate biofeedback and evidence-based game mechanics that target decision-making under stress; (b) Test whether these games are effective at improving decision-making skills and reducing stress-related symptoms in police officers; and (c) Apply novel, game-based methodologies, to pinpoint the precise game mechanics responsible for training decision-making under threat. |
